To accelerate the process of research in response to the disasters brought about by climate change, Archilife has made several adjustments to the frameworks of the researches funded by the Archilife grant since July 2010. The principal investigators of the original research projects now come together to form the Special Teams, and carry out discussions on the relevant subjects in a special team conference scheduled over a period of six months.
Facilitated by Chairman Chen Tai-an of the Taiwan Society of Sustainable Built Environment(TSSBE) , ARF members were invited to visit Taijei Precision Co., Ltd., which was founded by the ARF’s 1993 Master Thesis Award winner Mr. Liu Hsing-peng. It is hoped that the on-site visit will bolster relationships and promote inter-industry exchange.
