The March Archilife Public Policy Communion of 2025 was held on March 16, 2025. After a series of relaxing and fun activities, Secretary General Huang Chin-ying made the following announcement, "Since assuming office, US President Donald Trump has made headlines with the slogan "Make America Great Again", which serves as a pretext for enacting a variety of policies. Conversely, China has launched cognitive warfare by employing rhetoric that promotes distrust of the United States and animosity toward President Donald Trump. Additionally, TSMC has announced it will increase its investment in the United States, while President Lai Ching-Te has announced the reinstatement of the Military Trial System. With the harsh global situation continuing to present Taiwan with numerous challenges, I believe that as long as the people of Taiwan can be self-reliant and strong and work together, they will be able to overcome the difficulties. Furthermore, the complexity of network information has increased as the digital age of artificial intelligence matures. Everyone is reminded to be aware of potential information security threats and fraud risks, and to remain vigilant to avoid falling into traps."

Next on the schedule was the keynote speech. First, Mr. Li Hung-chien presented a speech on the "Sustainable Campus – A Discussion on the Construction of Toilets in Elementary and Junior High Schools". The speaker first stated that over 1,500 school buildings were destroyed during the 921 earthquake. Of these, 293 schools required reconstruction or renovation. Given this opportunity, the New Campus Movement was founded with the goal of breaking convention in campus space planning and instead creating more diverse spaces. The Ministry of Education has launched the Public Elementary School Old Toilet Renovation Plan since 2015, and senior high schools have joined the renovation and repair plan since 2021. The speaker stated that the repair and construction outcomes include reduced space discomfort and compression. The function design considers cleanliness, comfort, and safety; the use of water-saving tools; illumination and bright lighting; proper air circulation; and the incorporation of local culture into decorations. The speaker also highlighted the installation of all-gender restrooms, ensuring that everyone has a space to use freely.

Next, Ms. Chang Kuei-feng spoke on "+1°C Net-Zero Urban and Rural Cities & Trail Economy". The speaker began by introducing Pingtung's climate and geographical environment, stating that the city, located on Taiwan's southern tip, always exudes warmth due to its strong cultural foundation. Presently, the Executive Yuan intends to promote net-zero green living in both urban and rural areas, which includes green ecology, the creation of friendly trail environments, and the implementation of a 15-minute urban living circle as a planning goal. The speaker specifically mentioned the Native Cultural Corridor, which combines the characteristics of native traditional craftsmanship, resulting in a natural economy. The speaker used the Kunlun'ao Historic Trail as an example. During the restoration, handcrafted trail construction techniques were used, in addition to working closely with the tribes, to reduce environmental impact and restore the ancient trail's graceful presence from the past. Lastly, the speaker encouraged the audience to visit the trail to personally experience the journey toward sustainable development and culture.

Next, Mr. Sun Ta-lun spoke on "Guidelines for Gender Professional Ethics". The speaker first stated that the United Nations has proposed 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), each of which encompasses gender equality. As a result of recent amendments to the Gender Equity Education Act, provisions pertaining to "Guidelines for School Principals and Faculty Who Violate Professional Ethics Practices Related to Gender or Sex" will be added and shared with all. Principals and faculty are specifically prohibited from violating sex or gender-related professional ethics practices. In terms of sex- or gender-related interpersonal interactions, principals, faculty, and minor students are prohibited from developing relationships based on sex or affection in the context of professional ethics. Furthermore, the regulations cover sexual characteristics, gender traits, sexual inclinations, and gender identity, among others. The speaker also provided numerous illustrations to help the participants understand the implications of the laws.

After the speech, Secretary General Huang Chin-ying presented a gift to the speakers on behalf of the foundation. Then, attendees expressed and exchanged their opinions and views during the piggy hour. The March Archilife Public Policy Communion ended smoothly.
