The presenter first mentioned that the Cultural Experience Education Plan is intended to encourage arts and cultural groups or individuals to provide students with artistic and cultural perception competence-related cultural experiences, thereby creating more opportunities for students to experience art and cultural connotations. In addition, through the co-created platform mechanism, those specializing in art and education will assist in content revision, lesson plan formulation and the planning of cultural experience contents suitable for teaching use at the end of the schoolyear. The review focus lies in combining local knowledge, linking the cultural and social pulse and emphasizing the core characteristics of art groups. The presenter also cited many cases of class implementation. The students were given the opportunity to experience arts and cultures through the school curricula. However, in the lesson plan, at least four classes are allotted for each semester. Students burdened with school work will have a hard time sparing time for art and culture experience education. On top of it, because of the disparity between urban and rural areas in terms of cultural resources, the participation rates of schools in the remote areas remain low. ![]() Next, Mr. Chen Yuan-hung spoke on "Description of Disaster Identification and Earthquake Resistance". The presenter first said the focus of the speech lies in the identification of houses after disasters, as well as reinforcement and improvement after reviewing building safety as requested by the persons concerned. Common disasters include fires, gas explosions, slope slides, high chloride ions, water leakage and earthquakes. The presentation illustrated a full range of pictures one by one. Worth noting are fire prevention practices involving three elements: fuel, air and temperature. High chloride ions cause houses to collapse, water leakage results in the corrosion of reinforcement bars and threats arising from cracks following an earthquake. The presenter went on saying that since Taiwan is vulnerable to frequent earthquakes, more emphasis should be given to the strength and stiffness of buildings. Although reinforcement techniques can be applied, it takes no less than the reconstruction of urban unsafe and old buildings targeting old houses in the city to guarantee safer living. ![]() Next, Mr. Wu Gan-li spoke on "Urban Ventilation Design in the Era of Global Anti-epidemic".
