　　2026年6月7日由呂明澐小姐帶領31位見習生及其家長們至宜蘭進行冬山河乘帆暨賞荷採蓮體驗之旅。首站來到五結鄉五十二甲濕地的蓮花田，該區由宜蘭縣政府委託荒野保護協會宜蘭分會管理，當日由協會人員帶領眾人認識濕地生態及蓮花特色。緊接著大家穿上長襪並以綁帶固定，以免進入蓮花田後因泥土拉扯而滑落；踏入泥水後，土壤緊緊包覆雙腳，泥水隨步伐加深，部分年紀較小的見習生甚至被蓮花莖葉遮住身影。在導覽人員指導下，大家小心折下含苞蓮花與帶桿蓮蓬，眼前從泥水中生長、卻不染污濁的蓮花，正呼應周敦頤〈愛蓮說〉中「出淤泥而不染」名句；然而，蓮花莖梗帶有細刺，稍不留意便可能劃傷肌膚，也有見習生幽默表示，文中所稱「可遠觀而不可褻玩焉」，或許正是因此而來，引得眾人會心一笑。採摘結束後，導覽人員教導大家從蓮蓬中取出蓮子，剝開綠色外殼後，嫩白飽滿的蓮子入口清脆，帶有淡淡清甜，令眾人讚不絕口。導覽人員亦以大片蓮葉示範其超疏水與自潔特性；由於葉面具有細微結構，水珠與雜質不易附著，晃動後便迅速滾落。活動尾聲，大家以清水沖去腿上泥土，並將取下蓮子的蓮蓬收進桶內，留待下午DIY使用。　
　　For the study tour on June 7, 2026, Ms. Lu Ming-yun led 31 ARF interns and their parents on a trip to Yilan to experience sailing on the Dongshan River and lotus picking. At the first stop, the 52-jia Important Wetland in Wujie Township, which is managed by the Yilan Branch of the Society of Wilderness on behalf of the Yilan County Government, members introduced everyone to wetland ecology and lotus flowers.Next, everyone put on long socks and secured them with ties to prevent slipping in the mud. As they stepped in, the soil surrounded their feet, the mud deepened, and lotus stems and leaves hid some younger interns from view. Under the guide's instruction, everyone carefully picked lotus buds and pods with stems. Seeing lotus flowers rising clean from the mud reminded everyone of Zhou Dunyi's famous description, "emerging from the mud untainted." Since lotus stems have tiny prickles that can scratch the skin, some interns jokingly suggested this might explain why the poet said lotus flowers should be admired from afar rather than handled, drawing smiles from everyone.After the harvest, everyone learned to remove lotus seeds from the pods. Once peeled, the plump, pale seeds were crisp and mildly sweet, earning praise from everyone. The guide also demonstrated the superhydrophobic and self-cleaning properties of lotus leaves. Their microscopic surface structures make it difficult for water and dirt to adhere, so droplets quickly roll off when the leaves are shaken. At the end, everyone washed the mud from their legs and saved the empty lotus pods for DIY use that afternoon.

　　下午眾人前往冬山河親水公園旁的吉米帆船進行帆船基礎教學與乘船體驗。教練先於室內圖解帆船構造及航行原理，說明航行時須觀察風向與水域狀況，並適時調整船舵與帆面。順風時，帆面如同降落傘般承接風力，推動船隻前進；逆風時，則藉由帆面兩側壓力差產生升力，使帆船斜向迎風航行。稍後分組至冬山河畔的划船區，由教練示範如何透過推拉舵柄改變航向，並安排見習生輪流掌舵。當帆船因風力傾斜時，眾人須移往另一側平衡重量，年紀較大的見習生更將身體探出船側，體驗「壓艙」技巧；航行過程中，大家不僅感受操帆樂趣，也體會團隊合作與即時判斷的重要。本次體驗的Hunter 170為家庭休閒帆船，每艘約搭乘五至六人。等待上船期間，見習生及家長在咖啡廳享用點心，並將各色羊毛氈搓揉成球，填入上午採得的蓮蓬孔洞中，製作彩色蓮蓬花；完成手作後，部分人員亦體驗獨木舟，欣賞冬山河與沿岸景色。此次宜蘭行程結合濕地生態、採蓮手作與水上活動，讓見習生及家長從陸地到河面深入感受宜蘭自然風土。蓮花的清雅、帆船的奔放與親子共遊的歡笑，皆化為難忘回憶；眾人滿載收穫與喜悅，為一日行程畫下圓滿句點。

　　In the afternoon, everyone went to Jimmy Sailing Club beside the Dongshan River Water Park for basic sailing instruction and an on-water experience. The coach explained the sailboat's structure and sailing principles with diagrams, noting that sailors must observe wind and water conditions and adjust the rudder and sail accordingly. With a tailwind, the sail catches the wind like a parachute and pushes the boat forward. Against the wind, pressure differences across the sail generate lift, allowing the boat to sail into the wind at an angle. The group then moved to the sailing area on the Dongshan River in small teams. The coach demonstrated how to change direction by pushing and pulling the tiller, and the interns took turns steering. When the sailboat heeled under wind pressure, everyone moved to the opposite side for balance. Some older interns leaned over the side to experience the "hiking" technique. During the activity, everyone enjoyed sailing while learning the importance of teamwork and quick judgment. The Hunter 170 is a recreational family sailboat that accommodates five to six people. While waiting, the interns and parents enjoyed snacks at a nearby café and rolled colorful wool felt into balls to fill the lotus pods collected that morning, creating decorative lotus flowers. Some also tried kayaking and enjoyed the Dongshan River and riverside scenery. Combining wetland ecology, lotus picking, handicrafts, and water activities, the study tour allowed everyone to experience Yilan's natural environment by land and water. The elegance of the lotus flowers, the excitement of sailing, and the laughter shared by families became lasting memories, bringing the day to a satisfying close.
